HBI VERIFIED BUILDINGS

The Public Outreach component of the HBI - Healthy Building Verification (HBV) Program is supported through strategic placement of HBI - Healthy Building Verification program badging. This badging is typically applied to the glass entry ways and within elevators of the buildings enrolled in the Healthy Building Verification Program. HBV Program badging informs visitors entering the building that the building has engaged an expert 3rd party EH&S team that has verified a safe and healthy indoor environment exists within the building.

When the QR code within the HBI - Healthy Building Verification badging is scanned by a smart phone device, a professionally developed, site-specific correspondence is presented that quickly and professionally communicates the expert level of care the Building has taken to protect the health and safety of its occupants in this current COVID-19 world and beyond.

The following organizations are committed to maintaining their buildings in accordance with healthy building guidance established by OSHA, EPA, ASHRAE, AIHA and the CDC. As part of this commitment, they have engaged the Healthy Building Institute’s (HBI) – Healthy Building Verification Program.

The Healthy Building Verification (HBV) Program has provided a high-level 3rd party review of these buildings' operations as related to indoor air quality, drinking water quality and surface cleanliness. These facilities' participation within the HBI-HBV program documents their commitment and compliance with healthy building guidance and professionally assists in assuring its building occupant’s that their building is providing Healthy Air to Breath, Water to Drink and Surfaces to Touch in this current COVID -19 world and beyond.
